I have never worked with a designer. Do I need one?
We think that everyone can benefit from working with an interior designer. We come up with a plan that makes it a streamlined and easy process saving you time, money, and headaches. Many people are a little nervous when they call us for the first time, but please don’t be. We are friendly, fun, and love what we do. It makes us so happy to see our clients loving their finished spaces.
How do I get started?
We will send you our investment guide that goes over our pricing and policies. If that all looks good to you we then schedule a phone call to hear more about your project.
How much does this all cost?
We are happy to send you our investment guide which details Bluestone Studio’s pricing and process. We offer many packages to meet everyone’s budget. Designer for a Day is an option as well as two bathroom and kitchen packages. We also work hourly with a minimum retainer.
What cities and states do you work in?
With our virtual design service, we can work anywhere in the world. For in person meetings we focus on Northern Virginia and parts of Maryland. Mary lives in Loudoun County, Virginia.
Do you have a minimum? Will you work on any sized project?
We really enjoy working on larger projects like kitchens, baths, basements, new construction, whole rooms, offices, etc., but are open to hearing about whatever project you have in mind. We probably aren’t a good match for you if you just need a couple of hours of help like picking a paint color or finding a single area rug.
What is virtual design?
We are happy to offer virtual design for our clients who don’t live close to us. Virtual design is similar to our regular design process except that we don’t see you in person. We talk on the phone, facetime, and have you send us pictures and dimensions. From there we come up with a plan and present you with a shopping list with links of what to buy, fabric samples, and floorplans and renderings. We have found that people like to see what their new spaces will look like ahead of time and our new rendering software is pretty amazing.
